
Dr. Cardell K. Jacobson earned both his Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his B.S. in Sociology from Brigham Young University. Dr. Jacobson has taught at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Cental Michigan University and is currently a Professor at Brigham Young University, where he teaches and does research on race and ethnic relations, social psychology, and social problems.
Darron Smith is a PhD student at the University of Utah in the department of education, culture, and society. His area of interest are racial identity development, heath care disparities, transracial and biracialism, whiteness theory and cultural studies. Darron has taught has over ten years of teaching experience in the field of sociology where he lectures about race, racism and power relations. Darron has also published in the area of race in higher education and explores the issue of race and religion in his edited book with Newell Bringhurst, Black and Mormon.
